#401 Project All the Train stations in the Netherlands 10. Voerendaal
10. Voerendaal Voerendaal is one of the smallest municipalities in Limburg. This station is a carbon copy of the station in Klimmen-Ransdaal, same architect same year - apparently it is called the 'Traditionalist style - a reaction to the Neo-gothic and Neo-Renaissance styles by Pierre Cuypers (thank you Wiki). this area is again full of castles and just a short walk from this station and you will come across Kasteel Cotenbach. Very nice grounds for a ramble- and pretty quiet spot. In the other direction you can walk into the town there is a VVV service point in one of the cafes and a very nice bakery to pick up some supplies for your further travels.
